This course is made for anyone who wants to learn something new and is suited to those who have zero experience coding.
HTML & CSS For Everyone will deliver real, marketable skills to use in your current (or brand new) career or business!
This is a project-centred course, which means you’ll leave with a real product, not just random papers scribbled with notes.
Together we’ll build a multi-page website that used industry-standard best-practice code, is accessible, SEO friendly, and works across multiple devices (mobile and desktop).
You’ll also gain access to the Meeum Alumni Facebook group and email community, to ask questions and receive guidance along the way.

Who will love HTML & CSS For Everyone?
The skills you’ll gain over the course will be of benefit to businesses big and small, including builders, trades, artists, bands, designers, freelancers etc. This course is also perfect for teachers, who need to rapidly upskill in digital technologies and gain the confidence to teach and learn alongside their students.
Creative Professionals – we’re talking web designers, UX designers, Project Managers. Sick scratching your head in technical meetings when hearing unfamiliar terms? Keen to jump into the browser and communicate with your dev team in code?
Business owners – ever wondered how to effectively edit your own website (or even start learning how to build the whole thing from scratch)?
Bloggers – bet you’d love to know the ins and outs of HTML so you could start to have a poke around inside those WordPress themes to understand and change them?
HTML and CSS For Everyone is also perfect for someone thinking of a career change, but not quite sure they’re ready to jump into a three-year computer science degree.
This course sounds amazing – What do I need?
Two of the most important things we need from our students is a positive attitude and a thirst for knowledge. We can’t give these to you – you must bring them with you.
As far as technical things? You’ll need a computer! Mac, PC or Linux – it doesn’t matter!
We’ll be using the VS Code text editor throughout the course. You can use any web browser you like, although we’ll be focussing on Firefox and Chrome.
We’ll go through step by step installation instructions right at the beginning of the course, and will be available to help every step of the way via our Facebook Group as well as email.
